Status of submission of reports by States parties under article 9 (1) of the Convention
Note by the Secretary-General
1.States parties undertake to submit to the Secretary-General, for consideration by the Committee, a report on the legislative, judicial, administrative and other measures that they have adopted and that give effect to the provisions of the Convention within one year after the entry into force of the Convention for the State concerned and thereafter every two years and whenever the Committee so requests, in conformity with article 9 (1) of the Convention.
2.The present note contains information on the overall situation with regard to the submission of reports by States parties in accordance with article 9 of the Convention. Reports received and pending consideration by the Committee are listed in table 1; States parties from which reports are overdue are listed in table 2. The information contained in the present note reflects the status as at 10 June 2024.
