At its meeting on 18 August 2017, the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities decided to discontinue the consideration of communication No. 16/2013. In December 2014, the State party advised that, following the submission of his complaint to the Committee, the author had been housed in the community when the adapted social housing and funding for support services had become available. This information was not contested by the author, who is no longer institutionalized. The subject matter of his complaint is therefore moot.
