At its meeting on 25 July 2019, the Human Rights Committee decided to discontinue the consideration of communication No. 2421/2014 as no replies from counsel had been received and there was no possibility of contacting the author directly, since his whereabouts and current status have been unknown since his forcible return to Afghanistan in June 2014.
