At its meeting on 28 April 2021, the Committee, having been informed that since the expulsion order against the complainant had become time-barred and that he could then submit a new asylum application in Sweden, decided to discontinue the examination of communication No. 785/2016 on the understanding that the complainant would be entitled to submit a new communication to the Committee in the event of a renewed risk of forcible removal from the State party’s territory.
