CLOSURE OF THE SESSION
The meeting was called to order at 11.35 a.m.
ADOPTION OF THE REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON ITS TWENTY-SIXTH SESSION (CRC/C/103)
1.The CHAIRPERSON invited the members of the Committee to consider chapters I (Organizational and other matters), III (Inter-sessional activities of the Committee), IV (Cooperation with United Nations and other competent bodies), V (Future thematic debate), VI (General comments) and VII (Draft provisional agenda for the twenty-seventh session) of the report.
2.Chapters I, III, IV, V, VI and VII of the report were adopted.
3.The CHAIRPERSON invited the Rapporteur to present section B of chapter II, entitled “Consideration of reports submitted by the States parties under article 44 of the Convention” and containing the Committee’s concluding observations on the reports of Latvia, Liechtenstein, Ethiopia, Egypt, Lithuania, Lesotho, Saudi Arabia, Palau and the Dominican Republic.
4.Mr. DOEK (Rapporteur) outlined the concluding observations of the Committee on each of the reports.

5.The concluding observations on the initial report of Latvia were adopted.

6.The concluding observations on the initial report of Liechtenstein were adopted.
Concluding observations of the Committee on the Rights of the Child: Ethiopia (CRC/C/15/Add.144)
7.The concluding observations on the second periodic report of Ethiopia were adopted.

8.The concluding observations on the second periodic report of Egypt were adopted.

9.The concluding observations on the initial report of Lithuania were adopted.

14.The CHAIRPERSON declared that the Committee had thus completed the adoption of its report on its twenty-sixth session.
