At its meeting on 31 July 2017, the Committee against Torture decided to discontinue the consideration of communication No. 755/2016 since the complainant had been granted a renewable residence permit in Switzerland (permit B), and would therefore not risk to be forcibly removed to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
