At its meeting on 15 November 2019, the Committee, having been informed by the State party that on 29 May 2019 the complainant had been granted a review of his asylum application and that he was consequently no longer at risk of being returned to Turkey for the duration of the review process, concluded that communication No. 894/2018 had become moot and decided to discontinue its consideration, on the understanding that the complainant could submit a new complaint if he faced a renewed risk of being forcibly returned to Turkey.
