Conclusions and recommendations concerning the second periodic report of the Czech Republic (CAT/C/38/Add.1; CAT/C/XXVI/Concl.5/Rev.1)

At the invitation of the Chairman, the delegation of the Czech Republic took places at the Committee table.

Mr. MAVROMMATIS, Country Rapporteur, read out the Committee’s conclusions and recommendations, concerning the second periodic report of the Czech Republic (CAT/C/38/Add.1), which were contained in document CAT/C/XXVI/Concl.5/Rev.1.

Mr. SOMOL (Czech Republic) thanked the Committee for its recommendations, which would be passed on to his Government. The Czech authorities would then begin to implement the Committee’s recommendations, and the next report would contain information on the progress made in that respect.
