ADOPTION OF THE COMMITTEE’S REPORT ON ITS THIRTY-SIXTH SESSION (CRC/C/140)

1.The CHAIRPERSON invited the members of the Committee to consider chapters I (Organizational and other matters), III (Cooperation with United Nations and other competent bodies), IV (Future day of general discussion), V (Day of general discussion), VI (Working methods), VII (General comments) and VIII (Provisional agenda for the thirty-seventh session).

2.Chapters I, III, IV, V, VI, VII and VIII were adopted.

3.The CHAIRPERSON invited the Rapporteur to introduce chapter II, section B, entitled “Consideration of reports under the Convention”, containing the Committee’s concluding observations on the reports of El Salvador, Panama, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Liberia, Myanmar, Dominica, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and France.

4.Ms. KHATTAB, Rapporteur, summarized the Committee’s concluding observations on the reports of El Salvador, Panama, Rwanda, Liberia and France.

10.The CHAIRPERSON summarized the Committee’s concluding observations on the reports of Sao Tome and Principe, Myanmar, Dominica and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
