After the preparation of documents CCPR/SP/71 and Add.1, the Secretary-General received a note verbale from the Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations Office at Geneva, dated 13 June 2008, informing him that the Government of Lebanonhad decided to withdraw the nomination ofMs. Elisabeth Zakharia Sioufi.
