1.On 15 February 2018, the author submitted an individual communication to the Committee on behalf of herself and her three children. That same day, the Committee registered the communication and requested the State party to take interim measures to suspend the eviction of the author and her children pending the consideration of the communication or to provide them with adequate alternative housing, in genuine consultation with them.

2.At its meeting of 22 February 2021, the Committee, having noted the author’s request to set aside her communication because she had signed the lease for a social housing unit, decided to discontinue its consideration of communication No. 25/2018, in accordance with rule 17 of its provisional rules of procedure under the Optional Protocol.
