1.On 6 November 2018, the author submitted an individual communication to the Committee on behalf of herself and her minor children. On 7 November 2018, the Committee registered the communication and requested the State party to take interim measures to suspend the eviction of the author and her children pending the consideration of the communication or to provide them with adequate alternative housing, in genuine consultation with the author.

2.At its meeting of 22 February 2021, the Committee noted that the author had withdrawn her communication after obtaining social housing. The Committee therefore decided to discontinue its consideration of the communication, in accordance with rule 17 of its provisional rules of procedure under the Optional Protocol.
