1. Page 3, first full paragraph

For the existing text substitute

Under rule 5 of the Committee’s rules of procedure, the first item on the agenda for any session shall be the adoption of the agenda. In accordance with rule 6, the Committee may revise the agenda during a session and may, as appropriate, defer or delete items.

2. Page 4, third full paragraph

The last sentence should read

The draft optional protocol, as adopted by the Open-ended Working Group, will be made available to the Committee in the report of the fifth session of the Open-ended Working Group (A/HRC/8/7, annex).
