Subject matter:Access to social housing for a person with disabilities

At its meeting on 24 March 2017, the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities decided to discontinue the consideration of communication No. 33/2015, since, by its decision of January 2017, the State party regularized the author’s housing situation, in accordance with his initial petition. Consequently, the author is no longer at risk of eviction, and he and the State party have reached an agreement on the substantive issue raised in the communication.
